Invites all Second Year Undergraduate LLB Students to an informal dinner to be hosted by
A Leading City Law Firm
Have you been considering applying for a vacation scheme or a training contract at Macfarlanes?
This unique networking opportunity will give you an insight into what it is like to work for a commercial firm that advises many of the world’s leading businesses and business leaders, and will inform your decision to apply for Macfarlanes.
You will be able to discuss the application process, in detail, with partners and trainees. You will be able to gain an insight into their experiences and the opportunities that Macfarlanes offers.
The dinner will take place on the 17th of February 2010, at a restaurant close to Macfarlanes’ central London offices.
There are limited places available at this dinner, but students with a serious interest in Macfarlanes are encouraged to apply for a place: please send a copy of your CV (a full CV with A level or equivalent results) along with your recent Equity & Trusts coursework marks to the City Law Society Secretary at abdb211@city.ac.uk

Boat Party tickets now on sale!

Hi everyone,
For anyone wanting to buy a ticket for the Christmas Boat Party, the Law Society will be in the Hub this Wednesday and Thursday between 11 & 2 selling tickets.
For everyone who couldn't make the 2nd and 3rd of December ticket sale at the hub between 11 & 2, can now get them from the pod at the hub or the SU bar [Ten Square] instead!!

I would firstly like to welcome all the new students to City University, I hope you look forward to your time studying here. I would also like to welcome back all returning students, I hope all your exams went well and that you enjoyed your summers.
